Royalties & Contracts

NNP is a royalty paying, small, independent publisher. However, we can do big things for our authors!

Royalties:

We pay royalties of 40% of the net Publisher’s share of single-author ebooks plus five (5) complimentary digital copies for the purpose of promotion.

Anthologies and stories to the Naught Hot Shots line pay individualized one-time payments outlined in the submissions call for each, plus one (1) complimentary digital copy of the book for personal use only.

Paperback and hardback, to those books who meet the qualifying criteria, pay 10% and 12% of the net Publisher's share, respectively.

There is absolutely NO cost to the Author to have their work published. Net Publisher's share is defined as the amount received from third-party distributors.

We do not deduct any amounts prior to determining royalties payable to our authors.

Authors do not receive payment/royalties on any books/stories provided for promotional use. These posted percentage payments may vary on rare occasions.

Contracts:

Our contract requests full exclusive rights for three years. A copy will be provided for author review and digital signing upon acceptance of your work.

Please keep in mind NNP individualizes each and every contract and applies it based on specific variables such as: size, content, previous contracts with NNP, or other agreed upon previously discussed circumstances with individual authors, other publishers, etc. Not all contracts will be identical, even to the same author, for different works. Please be sure to thoroughly read your personal, individualized contract after your acceptance by NNP.
